I saw Ron Martin Angeles in the BL series “Ben X Jim” and since then, I became a fan. I am delighted to know that he’ll be appearing in another BL series called “Limited Edition”. He may still not be one of the main characters, but I’ll still watch it for him.
I love his personality on these series – he project an aura of being very happy.

Ever since the success of 2gether The Series (Thai BL Series), it seems that the Philippines jumped on the bandwagon and is now releasing trailers after trailers of upcoming BL series.
“Your Home The Series” will premiere on December 4, 2020 and is produced by Arcana Studios Inc. It stars Kurt Mendoza, Renz Kieser and Marc David.Take a took at the trailer.

I’m surprised that there’s a gay-inclusive rugby union club – and there’s a movie about them. Gays and rugby or other contact sports doesn’t seem to blend in well. But this knowledge proved me wrong. I would love to see this movie.

I missed this one. It’s now on Episode 5 and it’s a Pinoy Boys’ Love (BL) series. It’s called “Boy Band Love The Series” and it’s airing on YouTube.
According to My Drama List, Boyband Love (BBL) is a BL digital series that revolves around LMTLSS (pronounced as limitless), a Pinoy boyband composed of Aiden, Danny, Jamie, and Rico who have one goal in mind – stardom! However, their journey won’t be easy as their personalities clash, and their personal vendettas get in the way.
The series premiered September 19, 2020. It stars Arkin Del Rosario (Aiden), Louie Gabarda (Rico), Gus Villa (Danny), Job Piamonte (Jamie), Luise Gragera (Josh) and more.

I don’t know where exactly I saw the picture of Brent Manalo for the first time (most likely on Twitter) but I find him cute, attractive and charming. His name is Brent Manalo.

He appeared as a “karibal” to the character of Khalil Ramos in iWant Original Anthology series “Ampalaya Chronicles Presents Adik” (2020, Mini-Series). Other than that, I have nothing on him. Except that he has an clothing business called Brent Selects (that ships nationwide), he’s a TikToker, a vlogger, marketing student and models for clothing lines.
He modeled for Regatta and Guess. He was featured on Garage’s website. Let me watch his YouTube Q&As to know more about him. By the way, I love how he takes his selfies. It’s not super focus on his face but he leaves a huge space on the upper portion of the picture. Nice style I should say.

Will the character of Ben end up with his best friend Jim or the delivery driver Olan? That’s the question
In Episode 3, Olan really shined. His lines are cheesy, and his smile is gorgeous. I'm guessing that there will be a competition between Olan and Jim (Jerome Ponce) in the coming episodes.
For now, let's focus on the guy behind the character of Olan. I checked his Instagram and he's really cute. He seems to be working at Bro's Kitchen.
He's also currently promoting a Facebook event called Ginoong Quarantino 2020 (The King of ECQ Online Search). Ronald "Ron" Angeles is 21 years old by the way and hails from San Juan City.

After “2getherTheSeries” iWantTFC is now airing the Filipino-dubbed “Dark Blue Kiss”. It’s a great series as well and stars my favorite New Thitipoom Techaapaikhun as Kao and Tay Tawan Vihokratana as Pete.
However, what I like about the series is the side story of Sun and Mork (Fluke Gawin Caskey). In fact, Gawin Caskey (for me) is the best thing about “Dark Blue Kiss”.

Gawin Caskey is a great singer. He sang the theme song of “Dark Blue Kiss” and covers some songs. The last one I saw was Maroon 5’s “Memories”. Prior to “Dark Blue Kiss”, he appeared on “Kiss Me Again” (2018) and is set to star in the upcoming drama “Girl Next Room: Motorcycle Baby” as the lead role of Mile.

After watching the first 5 episodes of Pinoy Boys’ Love (BL) series entitled “Gaya Sa Pelikula” I could say that so far, this is the best Pinoy BL series out there.
The acting of the actors are natural, the dialogue are authentic plus the songs used in each episodes adds charm to the show/series. For the opening theme, I finally found it. It’s “Unti-Unti” by UDD (formerly Up Dharma Down).
The song appeared before in the Globe Studios’ Valentine’s Video 2017.
I just finished watching Episode 2 of Pinoy Boys’ Love Series “Ben X Jim” and I’m hooked up! The series stars Jerome Ponce and Teejay Marquez. I find Jerome Ponce charismatic in his role as the straight best friend of Jim, portrayed by Teejay Marquez.
I equally adore the Original Soundtrack (OST) of this series entitled “Stars Align” by SwaveSound. It’s produced by Regal Media Inc. Sharing with you this romantic and upbeat OST.

There’s an upcoming Pinoy Boys’ Love (BL) series from Oxin Films – the same company that produced “My Day The Series”. (I’m still shocked at the length of kissing scene between Miko Gallardo and Aki Torres).
This one is entitled “Rainbow Prince The Series”. It stars a 20-year-old Burmese guy named Han Linn Naing Hugo (Hugo Naing). I saw one of his videos on YouTube and he looks gorgeous. He’s also a candidate of Mister Myanmar Beauty Paradise 2018.

After I discovered “2getherTheSeries” early this year, I begun watching other Thai Boys’ Love story. One of these is TharnType. I simply adore how Kanawut Traipipattanapong a.k.a. Gulf Kanawut looks like. He’s one of the most gorgeous Thai actors I’ve seen in a series.

Due to the success of Thai BL Series “2gether” by Sarawat and Tine, a lot of Pinoy BL Series followed – “Gameboys”, “Hello Stranger”, “In Between”, “My Day” and two more upcoming series – “Ben X Jim” and “Lakan”.
“Ben X Jim” stars Teejay Marquez and Jerome Ponce and is produced by Regal Entertainment. It will premiere on YouTube on October 15, 2020.

His travel videos are not your usual travel guides. He has his own route that is very different to most tourist travel guides. Plus, he always make it a point to take a dip in a body of water – a lake, river, spring. He already travelled to Norway, Iraq, Lebanon, and even stayed in Lima, Peru for a year.
Other videos I like are his product reviews – like an electronic toothbrush or a dietary lollipop. He even had a video wherein he tried height-enhancing shoes. He’s a bit insecure about his 5’6” height – as well as his “butt” nose and the fact that he looks very young at his age. He has a video wherein he is often mistaken for a 13 year old guy even though he’s already 19 years old.
He’s all over social media so you might as well try to watch his videos to be inspired by his wit and charm.
So I stumbled upon a very nice, gay love story on YouTube. It's entitled "Grey Rainbow" and it's the story of Porsche and Nuer.
The story started during their last year in college, when Nuer’s girlfriend broke up with him, because she suspects that Nuer is bisexual. Porsche had suppressed all his feelings for his long-time friend and roommate Nuer until the night of Nuer’s break-up.
It was that night that Porsche confirmed that Nuer’s girlfriend is right – he has feelings for Porsche all along. Their feelings for each other developed until they decided to get married (not legally though). I thought that it’s the end of the love story, since marriage is normally the conclusion of love stories.
Until Nuer’s ex-girlfriend Jane came back, this time with a daughter out of wedlock. So the love story became complicated. You have to watch the rest of the series to find out what happened. The thing I like about this love story is the cinematography and how it incorporates several themes that are relevant to society today.
The short story also talks about LGBT rights, coming out to parents, gay marriage, adoption, how society views homosexuality, non-traditional family, history, etc. I always love Thai gay love stories. This one is definitely worth watching.
P.S.
The film ended in a more elaborate Thai wedding but there’s a twist to it. I also love the film’s use of aerial video and the music (although it’s also in Thai).
