Harassment Texts from Sy & Jae Corp

I keep getting text messages from 09232511733 Sy & Jae Corp, service provider of Cignal TV:

“Hi Elmer _

Regarding on your CignalTV Over Due with Accnt # xxx total bal of 2224.26. Record Show That Your Outstanding Balance Remains Unpaid. Pls Proceed to Any CignalTV AUTHORIZED PAYMENT CENTER immediately thank you”

“CIGNAL ACCT xxx Your balance is DUE & DEMANDABLE. Pls pay 2224.26 NOW to avoid legal action. Last pymt was xxx for 1600. Disregard if paid. TY.

“We urge you to prioritize the settlement of this account today to avoid possible collection proceedings. Kindly settle at any CignalTV accredited payment center”

“It seems that you have ignored our reminders to settle your overdue CignalTV Inc Account”

“We look forward to your immediate and positive action in this matter. As such, you are hereby to settle w/in 48hrs. Make your settlement upon the given period.”

“Contact 09232511733 look for Jaime disregard this message if paid thanks”

“We are therefore giving you this chance to confront the situation amicably and present to us your payment arrangement to clear your name.”

Actually, I finished my contract with CignalTV except the last due amount and I’m no longer interested in continuing my subscription since my mom said “paulit-ulit naman yung palabas".

I actually don’t like the words they are using to remind me of my overdue balance. Sounds like harassment to me. It makes me want to ignore them even more. I hope they change the way they remind their customers. Or change their contact law office that handle their collection.

I would love Congress to pass the #SIMcardRegistration law to avoid these kind of nuissances.

  1. I have also been getting a lot of harassment & threatening text message from Sy & Jae since Nov 19, 2020 regarding apparently on a post paid account which I stopped subscribing to. I have texted the same harassing collection agency to furnish me proof of documents that I owe the telco company the amount they claim i owe, but to this date they cannot provide such

      i also received harassment texts from Mr. Harry of Sy and Hae Corp. regarding my unpaid pldt landline / wifi bill last april 2022, but the wifi / landline unit is already pulled-out last May 6 ,2022...they want me to pay pldt bill, from April 2022 thru May 2023, even though my landline Wifi unit is already pulled -out last May 6, 2022

    14. I recently received din. at andaming fees. Eh terminated na ung contract with Smart naman. what I would like to know, paano nila nakuha ung info natin. so meaning etong mga company like cignan, pldt, smart binebenta info natin sa ganitong companies? Also, ung email address na gamit is gmail lang. So I don't think they are legit.

  2. I've been getting these messages too. I've been calling their cignal hotline, sending emails stating that I want to stop my subscription as early as May. I tried to understand that because of pandemic, they got skeletal workforce etc... but it can still accomplish thru online isnt it? But it was just this October that I've received acknowledgement from Cignal and proceeded with the cancellation. Then this sy and jae corporation kept on sending messages about the outstanding balance. It's not my fault if Cignal didnt attend to my concerns. So slow on service but so fast about billing concerns.

    I think the problem is on Cignal primarily. They should settle the concerns immediately. Theyre really sending the wrong "cignal" service-wise.

    1. Same as I have experiencing. The text message came from Atty. Vicente M. Carambas. Today, Cignal TV is charging me around 1.1K pesos which I have not been receiving or enjoying any services from the time of disconnection or even any notice of connection coming from them.

I also a victim of this harassment messages too by this sy and jae but I ignored it because I thought it was a scam or something.I was shocked when I received an unpaid bills in my postpaid account since I stop my subscription last June 1,I was wonder how can get an outstanding balance almost 7k, the last I knew it was only 3k.

I also received txt messages from that corp. kaya before ako magbabayad sinearch ko muna kung true ba to kaso i found out na its a scam hndi rin registered mga numbers nila specially sa gcash para malaman yung mga names para ma report kaso wala, until now they sent me messages kahit blinock ko na sila I still receive notif from them ang daming numbers na ginagamit, sabi namn ng agent sa pldt wag nalng pansinin. it’s been 3yrs na na disconnected yung internet namin!

  8. Im getting those kinds of messages too and im just 13 they say my smart subsciption has an overdue balance of 17029, i dont know what to do. Theyre adressing me as GARCES NINO when idk who that is. Is this a scam help please

  9. I've also been receiving messages from this Sy & jae corporation lately regarding my Cignal subscription way back 2019. I called their hotline to tell them that I already terminated my subscription back in 2019 and they should check the recorded conversation I had with their CSR back then. The guy from Sy & Jae don't even know what to do and just told me that I need to settle my balance.

Same here, Been getting harrasment messages from Harry Legal office of Sy & Jae, I have PHONE RECORDS With their customer service representatives that I have moved out and they need to disconnect the line, having spoken and RECORDED every conversation I ever had with PLDT useless customer service about this. What should be done here?

Same here I also received harrasmemt msgs from them but I also did some research, this is an article from abs cbn news online "The BIR also sued Sy & Jae Corp., its president Yolanda Ferrer, corporate treasurer Analyn Marcelo-Buan, and corporate secretary Solfia Arboladura for willful failure to pay tax.

      SJC, a corporation engaged in providing collection and retrieval services, and its officers were sued for deficiency taxes for taxable year 2008 in the sum of P12.71 million.

  13. Ako din. Naka received ng harassments e-txt messages and email from Sy and Jae. I already emailed multiple times to PLDT to stop my subscription since pandemic at hirap akong makapagbayad. Umabot pa ng 23,567 bill ni Sy and Jae kasama na collection pay nila na almost 5K.

    1. I suffer the same thing. Nag email ako sa kanila last year pa a Request to terninate the service, as in lumipat na ang mother ko sa ibang lugar so they don't use the service na. Just yesterday naka receive ako ng text from this SY and Jae that I have to pay 30,061. Paulit ulit ko nang sinabi hindi na ginagamit ang service. Pandemic, saan nila ako pakuhanin ng ganyan at ibabayad sa hindi ko nagamit na service. Inhuman.

Sak'in ganito nag deliver sila sak'in ng PLDT postpaid after a day nag message sila sak'in na connected na ang postpaid enternet then nag try ako pero walang signal, ang nakalagay sa modem no enternet connection hanggang ngayon walang signal pero message na message sila sak'in na naniningil ng bayad pero kahit 1second wala akong na gamit enternet Kaya Kung minsan na isip ko na PA blotter or pa NBI ang gawa in nilang ito nakaka stress.

I got same messages also from this sy & jae corp., in the begin when I applied they told me it’s fiber and then later on we don’t have fiber yet in our building it’s only copper cables their technicians told me and then after few months i got connected to PLDT in the begin it’s on and off i report to them, technicians came he change the router then he ask me to pay for the router so i paid 1500 and later on i wasn’t supposed to pay how do i know, I didn’t make big issue about it it’s already done, then the problem continues after 1 or 2 months the real problem starts, we will get 10 minutes internet then for 30 to 45 minutes nothing it was keep going on like that for months and that time the lockdown start because of pandemic there is no technicians so in short PLDT couldn’t give the service they offer.
    We stop paying because it’s no use there is no internet we couldn’t connect. PLDT called me several times about my unpaid bills, i told them why will i pay if I couldn’t use their service, i ask them stop my subscription but nothing happen. They know about the issue and then now i received several messages from this sy & jae corp. telling me i have a big amount to pay immediately. I send message to them, i told them there is issue needs to be discuss but still they ask me to pay. I also send message to PLDT informing them regarding this blown up outstanding bill and about this sy & jae corp. the way they send the message but as usual no reply from PLDT and i search and search how to contact them it’s very stressful none of their contact number works. This is a telecommunications company that none of their telephone numbers is working. Your only way to contact is 171 you have to wait for 30 minutes before someone is available to answer.

  23. Halos lahat pala nakaka recieve ng msg galing sa Sy and Jae na ito. Nung una binayaran ko pa yan 1k na yan na balance ko daw sa Sky cable kahit pina terminate ko na ang account since 2018 pa. 2 years rin ako na kunsume kay Sky Cable n yan. Until now natawag at nag msg pa rin ang Sy & Jae na kaylangan ko pa daw bayaran ang 1k na balance ko. Nung minsan tinanong ko kung kelan ba yung last payment ko ng 1k, Sept 2019 pa daw. Sabi ko paano ako mag kaka balance e na fully paid ko ang net ko ng May 2018 at pina terminate ko. Kung device ang kaylangan nila. Until now 2022, andito pa sa akin.

  27. It seems like even non-subscribers are receiving such random messages from them, based on previous comments. More likely that these are shams, they may have gotten some outdated data through inside jobs, in garbages and other means and using the corporation's name to their advantage. Thus, the unethical business practice and harassments.

  28. Sy & Jae is now harassing me. About pldt bills namin nag eemail kami I cancel na asap kasi maglilipat na kami ng bahay. Tapos sobrang daming requirements so hndi na maasikaso. Tapos today Oct 17 onwards Sy & Jae texted me and emailed me harassing email. Is this legit??? Or scam?

  30. another harry from sy & jae corporation urging us to pay our pldt bills even though we"re no longer using the internet since february 2022 due to the failure of reconnection and repair due to the damage of typhoon odette and failure to migrate from dsl to fiber...According to this man overdue account,,,how coulld I had this overdue account yet they do not have given their srvices to us ?Before we transferred to other TELCO we settled our payments even we never enjoy using their services .

  33. Hey ex gay callboy and chums. Likewise threatened by SyJae for not paying a PLDT account I cancelled months ago. I was initially fooled into thinking they were a bona fide legal outfit, but now I realise PLDT just sold them a bunch of uncollectible debt for 5 centavos on the peso and left them to it. Hahahaha. My advice - just ignore them.

  36. If you have strong reason/s not to pay, ignore them. Deal directly with the service provider. Most of these collecting agencies do not have documents to know the history of the account. It's too useless to deal with them.

  40. I ended my contract with Sky for cable and internet services in 2021. IN 2022, I started receiving text messages from this company. Today, I just received an email from them. I have printed documents that I returned my cable and internet units to Sky, which means that I have FULLY PAID all my dues before I returned them. I have in my possession the black and white documents issued by Sky. I ignored and blocked all the mobile numbers that sent me the thext messages. Over a dozen of them. I will reply to their email today and block their website and email address after. Let them come to me and they will regret it.

This SY and JAE should be punished including PLDT, SMART, CIGNAL TV who hire collection agencies who later on pass our personal information to scammers like SY and JAE that resort to harassment. I received a text and an email today about a 16k balance of my PLDT service. That said internet service was proactively disconnected by PLDT because I missed a month of payment in November 2022. Since they disconnected it, I did not bother reconnecting because I paid for the service for roughly 2 years without internet connection at all. The reason I kept it is because 1. PLDTs termination fee is 3 months worth of payment and 2. I have a monthly reimbursement from my former company so I wasn't really paying the monthly service from my own pocket. I have escalated the internet problem so many times but I never got a decent customer experience, tech repair experience, nothing at all. All it gave me was stress. The internet only worked on Day 1 and when they cannot fixed it, I asked for termination and PLDT is just so quick to say, pay us 3months and will be out of your hair. Whatta rip off!! And now we are being fed to scammers SY & Jae who has all of our information!! Below's their SHITTY email.

    Sabi pa sakin ni PLDT hindi naman daw sya running balance and I can pay anytime basta wag lang lalagpas ng 6 months from the date of disconnection.

    If incase lumagpas man daw ng 6 months hindi mo daw sya pwede ireconnect if plano ipa reconnect.

    At kung gustuhin ko man daw paactivate kailangan ko lang daw bayaran ung pending arrears pero bagong account na daw sya nun.

    So I choose to ignore dahil halatadong pang SSCAM ginagawa nila.

    Kada iblock2 ko ung number kinabukasan meron nanaman sila ibang number na gagamitin pang text sau.

    Kaya mainam na talaga matuloy yang sim card registration law ng mawala na yang mga letseng scammers na yan.

    1. Same situation mafalas ako may text from sy & jae corp iniignor ko lasi paiba iba sila ng billing amount. I called pldt before magpa terminate ako and babayaran lang ung 1 month na bill ko, so hindi ko na nabayaran sa inis ko na lagi kami walang net. Until.may pumuntang mga service para ayusin sabi ko ipinaterminate ko na. Almost 1 year na kong disconnected hangang madalas ako tinitxt nitong Sy and Jae from 1799 na bill ko , 15k sinisingil sakin ngayon. Salamat at nag search muna ko.

Hindi ko po binayaran yung sa akin, na iscam nga po ako sa installation nagbayad ako 11k para sa wire lately ko lang din nalaman, tapos di pa sila nag deduct on times na palagi sila wala service halos everyday kahit months na after typhoon odette. Nakakastress ang PLDT tbh kaya nawalan ako ng gana sa kanila. Kasing hina ng internet connection nila ang kanilang serbisyo.

  66. Same here. Ilang years na ko disconnected sa cignal bigla bigla may marereceive ako text at email na may balance pa daw ako ng 1500. Dedma na lang, blocked at lagay sa spam email nila kesa mastress ako. Wala naman makukulong sa ganyan.

At need ko daw bayaran win 7days kung hindi daw mas malaki pa ang babayaran ko kase sisingilin narin daw pati gastos nila sa attorney at mag file na cla ng kaso against me.

Tas ipa terminate ko na ayaw pumayag. Gusto bayaran ang 12k. Di ko nalang pinansin. Bat ako magbabayad ng 7k na di naman maganda ang service. Buti sana pag sila ang mag ayos eh pag umuulan eh dira na. Wala na naman signal. Atsaka di na ako ang gumagamit. Tinigil din nila ang pag gamit kasi para ti walang cignal. Useless magbabayad. Ngayon me demand letter ako. Sakit sa ulo atsaka stressful. Buti nabasa ko dito.

  82. May thread palang ganto. Good to know di ako nagiisa. Three months na ako nakikipagtalo over the phone. una with Bernales & Associates. Nasendan na ako ng demand letter before. Ngayon SY & Jae naman nag send. May outstanding balance ako sa Cignal from Jan-May 2023 pero since June last year d na namin ginagamit kasi sabi nung Cignal agent before kami magapply, pag ayaw na daw namin gamitin wag lang namin bayaran. Now this.

    800+ lang naman. Actually kaya ko naman bayaran. Pero kasi nung pinaconvert ko sa Cignal ung account ko from Post to Prepaid, normally requirement isettle ung outstanding, pero sabi ng Cignal office sa amin naapprove naman ung pag convert so no need na bayaran.

    Pero tuloy tuloy pa din tong si Bernales and Sy & Jae. Went to Cignal office at sinasabi nila na idisregard lang ung mga collecting services. Pinakita ko ung demand letter at sabi nila irereport nila sa Cignal Head Office.

    Yesterday may tumawag claiming na Cignal Head Office na sya. Sabi ko kung pwedeng iemail nya ako para may black and white at para sure na Cignal talaga. Ngayon may natanggap akong email nga. Tada Sy&Jae.

    2 demand letters na. Hanggat may energy ako makikipagtalo ako sa kanila.

Me too I just received to pay from Atty hehe 27k wahahahaha, despite when PLDT called me after they don't have connection last time, I deactivated my account kasi di na namin nagamit tapos they keep added my bill monthly until umabot sa 27k . Oh my God 😅😅😅... Are they crazy? Asking you to pay kahit di mo nagamit.? I just received ng message nila from Jae corporation Atty Carambas das, buti nalang nag research ako at puro ganito complain dito. Tagal nila nawalan ng connection halos 1 month at since then di na namin nagamit kasi wala silbi. Always maintenance. Tumawag talaga ang PLDT office if I'm willing to reconnect sabi ko no and please deactivate my account at sabi ok. Tapos now singilin ako ng 27k 😅😅😅

    1. Same as I have experiencing. The text message came from Atty. Vicente M. Carambas. Today, Cignal TV is charging me around 1.1K pesos which I have not been receiving or enjoying any services from the time of disconnection or even any notice of connection coming from them.
