San Roque Parish, Pateros

Today is my first time in Pateros, Metro Manila. I’ve been living in Pasig City for ages and Pateros happens to be the neighbor town. It’s probably because Pateros is a small town with nothing much to offer (so I thought). Until I decided to visit it today.

Whenever I visit a town for the first time, I always go straight to the town’s main church. Pateros’ main church is the San Roque Parish. It’s small compared to Pasig Church but I prefer to hear mass here. I attended the 3:30-4:30 PM mass (conducted and English) and the sound system is nice. I could hear the priest very well. The church is not as full (and as crowded) as Pasig Church and it’s more conducive to hearing the Sunday mass.

I hope you like the pictures. I guess this church is dedicated to two saints of the Catholic Church: San Roque and Sta. Marta.
