Carinderia Foods

Lately, I’ve been eating at the nearby carinderia, just opposite the PhilPlans Corporate Center (PCC). There are a lot of carinderia along Kalayaan Avenue, on the side of Villa Kalayaan. They cater mainly to the callboys and callgirls of PCC. The primary reason is price. You can get a full meal for about P40-P60 pesos.

Since I’m trying hard to be a vegan, I refrain from eating pork. So most of the meals that I eat at these carinderia are vegetables. I’ve always wanted to be a full-pledge vegan, but that’s another story.

So here are some of the foods being served at our nearest carinderia. I also took some of my colleagues “ulam” (viand). Which one do you eat?
